Mid Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival celebrated by ethnic ChineseKorean, and Vietnamese people. The festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night, corresponding to late September to early October of the Gregorian calendar with a full moon at night.

On Oct 4, the night of the mid autumn festival, my family and I went out for dinner. After having dinner, we went back home to have some chinese tea and mooncake while chit chatting. We then decided to light up our lanterns and walk around the neighbourhood. We walked around in slow pace with a lantern in our hands enjoying the night breeze.🎑 It was an enjoyable night, a bonding time for the family.
